Projet d’édition
L’idée était de créer une mise en page aérée afin de permettre au lecteur de ressentir la notion d’air et de transparence en manipulant l’ouvrage. Le format oblong rappelle la photographie panoramique. Chaque double page se limite à une seule image, afin de ne pas surcharger celle-ci et de permettre une « respiration » dans la lecture de l’ouvrage. Pour obtenir une meilleure idée de transparence, les images ont été retravaillées, les rendant plus douces, et les textes sont imprimés en différentes nuances de beige.
Edition project
The idea of this book was to promote the sense of airiness offered by nature when travelling. Leaving as much white space as possible in between the text and the pictures, this edition enables the reader to travel freely through the pages, portfolios and articles. The book’s format gives a panoramic view feel to the object. To give a better idea of lightness and transparency, the project is highlighted by cleaned up pictures and the use of beige typography.
